Lofty officials landfill in Findlay plan to challenge two orders requiring them to dig gas sources and reduce the odors that were drifting in the vicinity, including the West Allegheny School Wilson's rights.

The orders were issued April 12 by the state of environmental protection and the County of Allegheny Department of Health control.

Landfill officials are appealing because they have "good and practical concerns" about the requirements they want to discuss and clarify with the agency, a spokesman for the landfill Susan David said Monday.

"If we do the documentation of these calls, we can not have this discussion and clarification on the details and the deadlines for the strange objects that are described in the fold," said Ms. David.

She said that landfilling is the pleasure of solving problems.

"It was frustrating not being able to get this completely resolved season," said Ms. David. "But we're committed to making improvements to make zero complaints of odors, and the race of the landfill in a manner that both the community and the institutions that govern us expect and deserve.
